And this is the remake by AR Rehman, sung by Lata. You decide which version is better. To me the original wins hands-down. You can say this much for the Rehman-version, he didnt disgrace himself in this remake. I tried to trace a rendition of VM by Lata in the old tune but i cant find it on youtube. Hearing that original version, your hairs crackle with excitement.
